Biography

The Urban Soul Orchestra is a contemporary and versatile string ensemble with a groovy twist. Originally a string ensemble but now with additional elements such as percussion, bass, DJ and vocals which has created their own unique blend of strings, beats and bass lines that provide different entertainment options for your entire event. Soulful arrangements of lush strings and funky rhythms combine to produce a fresh, modern and classy sound. Whether it be something different and memorable to launch your new product, creating the perfect environment for your clients to network to, or that special music to make your wedding day unique, USO has the perfect set to suit your needs. They can also collaborate with other artists including dancers to create a more comprehensive floorshow. The Urban Soul Orchestra have an exclusively arranged repertoire of chilled out lounge grooves, contemporary pop and soul, cool jazz and blues, and beautiful classical music. They also offer several different sets – the USO Chill Out Set is often a favourite for drinks receptions, the Acoustic Ensemble during dinner and the USO DJ Set or Big Band (also available as the Little Big Band) to keep you and your guests on the dance floor until the end of the night!
