Totally TINA! is an award-winning tribute to the Queen of Rock and Soul, Tina Turner. Currently touring UK theatres in a full production version with live band and dancers, our leading lady, Justine, is turning heads wherever she appears, whether as a solo act, solo with dancers, or in a full production show.
Justine has been singing professionally for over 20 years, and has worked extensively in theatres and on national television, she is a much sought after session vocalist, with dozens of recordings for major dance labels to her name.
In her early career she performed on stage with Ken Dodd and Roy Walker, and appeared in several TV advertisements, and on “The Vanessa Show” on BBC1.
In 2002 she appeared on ITV’s popular talent show “Stars In Their Eyes” as Anastacia, and won her heat, subsequently appearing in the “Stars In Their Eyes Live” national theatre tour in 2004.
Her tribute show “Justine is Anastacia” was in great demand and clients included the major UK hotel and leisure chains, British Forces Overseas, P&O Cruises, Silja and Norwegian Cruise Lines, Thomson and First Choice Holidays, and even the Mayor of Cyprus.
A talented and versatile performer, Justine has a gift for impersonation, and has appeared as Cher, Madonna and Shania Twain, as well as her fabulous Anastacia.
But it was her uncanny impersonation of Tina Turner that attracted the most attention and acclaim.
Thomson Holidays booked the “Totally Tina” solo show for their exclusive “Sensatori” hotels in Tenerife, Crete, Egypt and Mexico, and it was while appearing in Mexico that Justine met top Michael Jackson tribute artist Robin Parsons, who convinced her that a character as big as Tina Turner deserved a full production show with a live band, dancers, the works!
The band that had worked with Justine on her Anastacia show were augmented by a new multi-instrumentalist and singer, and the next 18 months was spent auditioning and rehearsing dancers, honing and perfecting the live show and working with a lighting director and sound engineers to recreate the look and feel of a Tina Turner concert.
Since then they have been performing in theatres and other venues across the UK and in Europe and have had the audience dancing in the aisles everywhere they appear. Justine and the cast of “Totally TINA!” are delighted to have been voted the “Official UK Number 1 Tribute” to Tina Turner by the Agents’ Association.
Where the size of the venue or the travel logistics make it impractical to take the full show, there is a solo version with or without dancers.
The solo show gives you Justine’s uncanny impersonation, performed to full backing tracks. The solo show with dancers adds another dimension and gets closer to Tina’s live stage show, also allowing for multiple costume changes during the show.
