A Night Like This’ is the UKs first official tribute to the effortlessly glamorous Dutch jazz singer Caro Emerald. The sounds of Caro Emerald are described as a mix of 1950’s inspired ballroom jazz, cinematic tangoes, groovin’ jazz tracks, infectious mambo’s and banging beats.
Caro Emerald is set to take the UK by storm since she debuted on 6 July 2009 with her single “Back It Up”. Her debut album ‘Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor’ set an all time chart record on 20 August 2010 by spending its 30th week at number one on the Dutch album chart, beating the previous record set by Michael Jackson’s Thriller by one week. The album has become the biggest selling album of 2010 in the Netherlands, selling over 300,000 copies so far and recently announced as gone Platinum.
This Caro Emerald Tribute is set to not only emulate the smouldering vocals of the songstress but to be a very close look alike to the glamorous singer. Caitlen Bailey, who is set to perform this sensational Caro Emerald Tribute, has an uncanny visual look of Caro, with her curvy figure and dark tresses. The name for this Caro Emerald Tribute, ‘A Night Like This’, is taken from Caro’s Number 1 single released in January 2010 which featured in an online Martini campaign. This Caro Emerald show is available for shows either in the UK or abroad.
Caro Emerald herself personally invited Caitlen (performer of this tribute) onto her recent sell out concert guest list at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester and also took the time to have a photograph together at the end of the show. When we were looking for a Caro Emerald Tribute for our wedding, we looked at what was on offer and compared who we thought would be the most authentic. After listening to recordings and looking at pictures on websites we knew we had to book Caitlen.
When Caitlen walked into the room, there was no mistaking who she was, she looked like Caro without trying! She worked professionally alongside our DJ and within our schedule and her sound system was really good.
My husband and I have seen Caro live several times and after watching Caitlen perform her tribute show for us at our wedding, it was unbelievable how close she mimics Caros voice, outfits and mannerisms.It really was like we had Caro at our wedding!!

We hired Caro Emerald Tribute for a private party and she proved to be an excellent choice –the tribute set was like having the real Caro in the room and her upbeat second set of contemporary party songs significantly added to the evening’s dance enjoyment for all guests. In every way, she was ‘Class’. Apart from her fabulous voice, she was nothing short of being the perfect professional. Her dress, the way she used the stage, and her pleasant chatter between songs. She would not have looked out of place at Carnegie Hall.

When I decided to organize an event, I decided upon a tribute night and Caro Emerald was a great choice for an artist, being contemporary whilst also having an appeal to more mature audience members.
Caitlen really did look the part, and the sound was excellent. I have had so much positive feedback for Caitlen, as well as requests for bookings and further functions.
As a consequence I have asked Caitlen to be involved in many more shows and am excited at the prospect.
I have booked Caitlen a few times for my entertainment nights doing her own act who always has done a great job.
But then she did a tribute act of Caro Emerald and she was brilliant, a well recommended artist.
Caitlen & I were on the same bill together at a recent event and her performance can only be described as smooth ! It was well thought out and professionally delivered . Caitlens Vocals are powereful and clean, yet also contain the odd whisper or two for some true light and shade ! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this Act !!!!!
