Boogie Classics are a 5 piece party band who play a dynamic mix of classic songs from the soul, funk, disco & pop genres. Boogie meticulously re-create the driving grooves and rhythms that propelled a nation onto the dance floors of the 1970s. This attention to detail ensures that whether you prefer to sit and listen, or dance the night away, Boogie will leave your audience wanting more and your event long remembered as a truly great party.
Their authentic approach to performing the classics that form their repertoire is made possible by the incredible musicianship of the band. Boogie members are all professional musicians who are renowned for their exemplary “feel.” Without this, it is impossible to do justice to the songs they love to perform.
As well as covering the greatest songs from the soul, disco & funk genres of the 1960s,70s & 80s, Boogie also cater for the younger listener by performing more modern hits by artistes such as Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Marrs and Daft Punk. This means that there is truly something for everyone to enjoy in their vibrant set.
To further compliment their fantastic music, Boogie are known for the great camaraderie and interplay between the band members on stage. This stems from the fact that all the members of Boogie are great friends offstage and truly love what they do. This happy “family” atmosphere helps to break down the barrier between the band and their audience, and also makes them very approachable at the bar after their performance!

The band can also feature an optional saxophonist/classical flutist for special requests, or providing live background music for receptions etc.
Boogie provide their own professional PA system and complete light show, with an optional Disco available for before/during the interval/after their performance.
